Originally a method from America for better stunning of teeth, which is difficult to influence by a normal syringe. This is especially true for teeth in which the tooth nerve is already very irritated. American colleagues came up with the idea to bring the anesthetic directly to where it works best, directly to or near the tooth root.
For this purpose, a drill was designed, which has only the diameter of an injection cannula. The Swiss colleague dr. Rau has also used this procedure for holistic dentistry. This method is used very successfully in the rehabilitation of residual jaw bone inflammations, for example in districts where there are no teeth left, but which have proven to be interference fields.
